I am currently sitting at JFK airport waiting for my 4:30 flight to LAX. It is a beautiful, sunny day so the chances of the flight getting delayed or canceled drops to only 92%. I used to fly out of Westchester all the time and would joke that their motto should be, "It could be worse---have you seen JFK and LGA?"
The layover for my Jet Blue is 4 hours which leaves me ample time to drink at the Terminal 5 bar, silently judge fashion choices, and drink at the Terminal 5 bar. I also send fake movie/tv pitches to my fancy Hollywood friends. Here are two examples:
Pitch #1: Steve Gluten never expected his wife of 10 years to die suddenly of whooping cough but, after her unexpected passing, he begins a new chapter of his life with nothing holding him back.
The Title: Gluten, Free
Pitch #2: In a doctoral program at a Research I university, the Philosophy department has been infiltrated by the undead. Half of the doctoral students are now vampires but the bigger question is, "how can you tell who is a blood sucking creature of the night (grad student) and who is simply a vampire?" Both groups hate human interaction, only wear black, and never see the light of day.
The Title: ABD (All but Dissertation) Vampire
