Back to Business

I hope that you don't read this blog expecting a new post every day--or every week--for that matter.  I would like think that I'm too symptomatic at times to be banging away at the keyboard but that is simply a lie.  I just get caught up in work, baby, work, work, baby, bringing sexy back, etc.  Some random notes/observations to get us back in the blogging spirit.

  • The Ithaca College students simply never stop impressing me.  They organized a Team Fox kickball tournament complete with local volunteers and sponsors to advocate and raise money for the Michael J Fox Foundation.  You can always still donate here.
  • What else has been happening during my two month sabbatical?
    • The Fox Foundation has launched an interesting new public health initiative, Partners in Parkinson's
    • There are a TON of promising new therapies in the pipeline---including some inspiring work being done with stem cells
    • I'm still doing a large amount of work with Google Glass as it relates to improving quality of life for those older patients with PD. Wearable tech is here to stay and those of us in academia need to engage in translatable research.
  • In other news:
    • The Goblin turned 3 in March and is already spitting fire.

    • I turned 34 in May which means I have had Parkinson's Disease for 4 years now.  Avery was so inspired by my courage and internal fortitude that she....canceled my birthday.

    • The Mets are still terrible!
    • Perhaps the most significant thing to happen was UConn Men's and Women's Basketball Teams winning national championships!

    • The final minute of the video when everyone starts dancing is fantastic.  In other news, Syracuse received some participation trophies and had a nice pizza party for their teams.

  1. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
